PICKET PASS PEAK

This is a bulky, rounded form 0.3 miles S of Picket Pass. It is the
only lumpy peak in the Pickets. Fred's missed it. It's an easy walk up
to the summit from the Pass. We approached from Frenzel Camp, which required
a short rap into the U-shaped pass between camp and this peak. There
are beautiful campsites with running water just south of the summit.
Picket Pass
This is another piece of heaven and ranks with Frenzel Camp in idyllic
spots. I like Frenzel better just because of it isolation, not that Picket
Pass isn't one of the most isolated spots in the world as America knows
it.
