Ken Jones I've only hiked with John once, to the best of my recollection. He came on a Mountaineers trip I led to Banshee and Central Cowlitz a few years ago. The only thing I'd like to pass on is my observation that his county highpointing accomplishments in Washington - though only a tiny piece of what he's done in the state - are to my mind the second most impressive county highpointing accomplishment by an individual. [It's hard to compete with Bob Packard's overall record.] Ken Jones
